Yeah, Funny how the GOP tends to include all the people that want a job. And the WH tends to make up how many jobs have been created or saved.(which has been documented).

Much like "saving" $17 for every $3500 spent, I don't expect liberals to be good at math, stats, or logic.

Again, look at the slope. All things being equal for however the GOP did month by month, the direction is not healthy. It should have started to level off.

But maybe you're trying to say they tweeked the numbers to create that curve? I guess that could be based on thinking they behave much like the liberals. You know that infamous "hockey-stick" graph by Mann for Global Warming? Thats exactly what they did to make it seem like we're getting...

Anybody who's been paying attention can see immediately that the Republican definition of "unemployment rate" is different from Obama's. Hence the whole chart is meaningless. I mean, meaningless to people with more than two brain cells to rub together. For folks who are ready to blame Obama for the destruction of Pompeii, it's a really nice graphic.

There is a mutual parasitic dynamic at play whereby each is entwining and strengthening each other as they feed off of the middle class.

It seems Princess Pelousy is trying to raise everyones taxes in the UnHealthcare Bill. Just read that buried deep in it is a provision to repeal indexing of tax brackets. That means as EVERYONE gets a 'cost of living' raise for years to come they'll slowly creep into the next higher tax bracket. btw, thats why Reagan lowered taxes, it creeped up and swallowed everyone whole back then.

LET ME BE CLEAR! I will not raise taxes on anyone making less than...at this point Zero.

BHO on the otherhand has clearly stated his disdain for the private sector. And again (see above), look at someone who has already tried to do what he wants to do. Its not really working out too well.

By the way, as I mentioned earlier Clinton created nearly as many jobs as Reagan, did so without tripling the deficit, and created economic expansion for all while under Reagan the poverty level INCREASED during economic expansion for the first time since records were kept.

Bush managed to do him one better in that regard, not only did poverty increase during an economic expansion(only the second time), but the middle class actually lost ground against inflation, while TWO THIRDS of that expansion was funneled into the coffers of 1% of the population!

Not so fast, don't forget Reagan initiated the largest single increase in payroll taxes ever in 1982, followed by increases over the years in user taxes for gasoline, tobacco, and alcohol. Besides that, he funded his economic incentives with a sea of red ink.

Funny how Reaganistas always leave that out of the analysis of his economic activities!

We have been hearing all day that the jobless rate is the highest it's been since 1983. Well...three guesses which President had been in office for NEARLY 3 YEARS in 1983, and had inherited a jobless rate of 7.5%? You guessed it, Ronald Reagan who went on to create more jobs than any US President...barely edging out Clinton by the way.

What this chart says to mathematic inclined is the "rate" is increasing as well. That should have at least been leveling off. It is not.

What it is, is worrisome. As mentioned before (by me), look at Spain. Zapatero is 6 years ahead of BHO with a similar agenda; green jobs, make everyone gets everything they need regardless of cost (promise a ponyride and ice cream to the masses), etc.

The Populist has taken Spain from being at the top of the EU to the absolute bottom. Officially at 18.9% unemployment (August). Its actually at about 20% there by now (knowledge from Spanish friends in high places).

Learning from others isnt exactly a hallmark of ideologues. In fact, they often follow the insane route, trying the...

I conclude that his projected statistics for unemployment were incorrect.

My own personal theories about why would probably focus on Wall St. and its ties to the administration. But I cannot reasonably draw a conclusion about the reasons for this based on the information provided.

Just think about how many jobs will be lost as Obama care puts the insurance companies out of business.

Oh and about those 111 new boards and bureaucracies, they will produce lots of gov jobs with lots of gov perks and of course good health insurance and very generous pensions after 20 years. Those jobs will cost us taxpayers plenty. Final result government health care will be probably twice as costly as what we have right now.

None of these numbers prove anything but what the speaker wants them to prove.

Looking at the above graph, the Republican spin is that that stimulus did nothing because Obama's projections were wrong.

A Democrat could just as easily claim that Obama was simply too conservative in his initial forecasts and that the real numbers would be far worse without the stimulus.

So this lovely chart just proves that Obama's initial projections were wrong. It offers no information as to why they were wrong.
