The rest of us are only too well aware of that. Now, I know that you guys like to define everything so that it can easily by processed by one of your two brain cells, but "popular" is not a word that you get to decide on. Obama is VERY unpopular with somewhere between 10%-20% of Americans. Yes, we know that.

Popular presidents almost always go out and campaign for their party's candidates who are in close races.

For example, Obama campaigning for Deeds. This is hardly newsworthy.

For another, clarifying example, how many times did George W. Bush go out and campaign for Republicans in 2006?
