National Ad Features Former Obama DOJ Official Endorsing Gorsuch

Judicial Crisis Network has taken its “Jane” ad featuring a former Obama administration attorney endorsing Judge Gorsuch national.

The $2 million cable buy featuring Jane Nitze is part of a $10 million campaign to confirm President Trump’s nominee to the Supreme Court.

"I don't think folks on the Left should be concerned about Judge Gorsuch becoming a Supreme Court justice," Nitze says in the ad. "He is extraordinarily fair-minded. He will approach each case the same regardless of the issue or the parties before him. And he will have a great deal of respect for folks on all sides of the ideological spectrum."

Nitze, who clerked for Gorsuch in 2008 and 2009, went on to work in the Obama administration’s Justice Department and clerked for Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor.

“I worked for the Obama administration and I have to say I’m 100 percent comfortable with Judge Gorsuch becoming the next Supreme Court justice,” she said in conclusion.
