It's been less than 24-hours since Democrats regained Control of the House in Washington D.C.
Last night, inevitable Speaker Nancy Pelosi celebrated the victory and vowed to hold President Trump accountable. She also promised supporters Democrats will focus on a legislative agenda that includes infrastructure and decreasing prescription drug prices.
Democrats will soon control all the Committees in the House, which means they will have subpoena power to investigate every inch of the Trump administration. They're already talking about getting President Trump's tax returns.
During an interview with CNN Wednesday morning, Counselor to the President Kellyanne Conway previewed what life could look like with a Democrat controlled House.
With Democrats controlling the House, what changes in DC? "That's a question for the Democrats," says Kellyanne Conway, counselor to President Trump, adding that they "walked away from the table" when Trump showed willingness to work across the aisle. https://t.co/Ce5mx1sAFG pic.twitter.com/VxmnHAcDx1

Meanwhile, President Trump is already reaching across the aisle and fostering a relationship with Pelosi as things move forward.
In all fairness, Nancy Pelosi deserves to be chosen Speaker of the House by the Democrats. If they give her a hard time, perhaps we will add some Republican votes. She has earned this great honor!
