Katie Couric to Sarah Palin: Round Two?

Katie Couric is leaving the door wide open for Sarah Palin when it comes to sitting down for a second interview according to Couric's own statement to reporters in Florida.

"She has an open invitation to come talk to me," Couric said. "I'm not sure she'd be interested, but she'd certainly be welcome. She's a fascinating figure not only on the political scene but in popular culture."

The invitation comes nearly two months after Palin co-hosted the Today Show while Couric battled her for ratings on Good Morning America. Palin won by a substantial margin.
