Takers vs. the Makers: Is America a Welfare State?

As Guy wrote earlier, Barack Obama seems hell bent on continuing his class warfare rhetoric that he claims isn't about class warfare but about fairness through tax rates. It is clear President Obama has no problem expanding the role of government and therefore, making people more dependent on government programs. We often hear the question of, "Is America on its way to being a welfare state?" Well it turns out, we may already be there and with President Obama at the helm, I doubt any efforts will be made to reverse the situation we are in: Takers vs. Makers.
