First, the bin Laden raid was the single bravest national security decision ever made in the last 500 years. And now, Joe Biden has once again put his foot in his mouth. In today's edition of Revisionist History with Vice President Biden, he seems to have forgotten about the 1920s while speaking to a conference of mayors. You guys, did you know this is the worst recession in American history? Literally:

It's pretty bad, that much everyone knows. But worst ever? That's an exaggeration.

You gotta give him some credit, though: he's POTUS' most enthusiastic cheerleader. When Obama does right, like with bin Laden, it's the best thing evahhh. But when things go wrong, it's not his fault, but the collusion of an act of God and Republicans. Note how he packs Congressional obstructionism and worst-circumstances-in-history into this little 18-second sound bite. That, my friends, is some expert deflection of responsibility. But then, as a veteran Democratic politician of 39 years, Biden's had some practice.
