"Restoring Sanity"...One Nutty Sign At A Time

At least people on the right know what they're rallying for.

"Sanity" is like handing Jon Stewart a blank check - it means whatever Jon decides it means.

The left increasingly requires that you become an entertainer and a clown before you get into political office. How messed up is that?

I thought we weren't keeping score. I just remember the last march, you remember the one after Beck, but before the great political mind (in you mind) of our day and time. You remember that one. Does that one count?

WE people who have dared to take a different opinion than than the mainstream, they ridiculed on Saturday, and in the stunt at Congress. These two events are sarcasm. If you can't tell the difference, then you probably think throwing a trillion dollars down the sh!tter is no big thing, and confiscating health care is good.

Jon Stewart has more wit and insight in his finger than the Morning Zoo radio hack Glenn Beck has in his whole corpulent body. Go watch the video of his speech and see if you can find anything to disagree with. It's about as reasonable and straightforward as you can get.

I am in the process of examining every picture of every attendee and sign and going through every word spoken by Stewart, Cobert or Wilmore or any attendee, and I am going to examine everything to try and find some statement or sign taken out of context or in context or in my own imagination and then use it to criticize the event to make it look bad.

You're right, you really should have gone. You would have fit right in...Truth is, apparently what happened was that Stewart heard voters were "mad," meaning angry, and misunderstood it to mean that they are "mad," meaning insane.

Thus the rally seems likely to defeat its stated intent. If someone is angry, disparaging him as insane will only make him madder. Just watch what happens Tuesday!
