Rand Paul of Kentucky spun a compelling message of liberty and rights, bringing a late-arriving crowd to its feet. Rand Paul shares many -- but not all -- of his father's ideas, but he manages to convey them in a more mainstream and less angry way. The delegates ate his address up:
