If you want consistency: Ron Paul.

If our country could just start to move in the direction he'd take us, we'll be better off.
(Someday I'll part ways with Dr, Paul, but not yet,)
He's the only one who wants to stop digging the hole and fill it in.
Everyone else argues about whether to dig faster or slower from the right or left side of the hole.
The hole is our grave.

Well Newt, you know how to take things out of context. Why don't you play the whole thing, so people can hear what he was referring to? For people who want to hear it, go and watch the full debate, so you won't get mislead by this. Of course people will be able to see how Romney crushed you like a bug in the last debate. http://www.2012presidentialelectionnews.com/2012-debate-schedule/2011-2012-primary-debate-schedule/

I realize that Newt Gingrich is a horribly flawed individual. However, we are all flawed. OK! OK! I should only speak for myself.

But, you know that it is true.

I think we should pray for Mr. Gingrich, as well as his opponents.

GEORGE SOROS IS SPREADING THE WORD THAT HE WANTS ROMNEY OR OBAMA TO WIN AS NOTHING WOULD CHANGE. THINK HE DOESN'T KNOW WHO HE OWNS?

He doesn't want Gingrich or Santorum.

I told you Nitt was just a damn liberal socialist, just like Obama. Two liberal peas in a socialist pod.

I TOLD YOU SO!

I found it quite entertaining and factual. The creepy factor is Romney and all his lies (and those stupid enough to like him).

The question of calling Tea Party people 'baggers' originated with the Tea Party people themselves. They wore Tea Bags on their hats and heads. The name originated with Tea Party people, it is Republicans who constantly pursue the politics of personal destruction.

listen, asswhipe. the tea party people didnt even know the meaning that liberals attach to tea bags. who could have known of such depravity? the continued taunting of people by calling them "tea baggers" by disgusting perverts who infest the democratic party is only to be expected of people who have no moral standards at all. the term "tea bagger" when applied to anyone who does not work in a tea factory says volumes about the depravity of the name caller,, but nothing about the victim. capice? now go ahead and call innocent people "tea baggers" we all know what you are.

I am sick and fed up with people making fun of Mitt for saying that is really his first name - my son's first name is Christopher and his middle name is Lawson and he has gone by Lawson since the day he was born - I guarantee you if someone asks his first name he will automatically (perhaps absent-mindedly) answer that it is Lawson - people need to get over that!

Ronald Reagan built up the largest peacetime budget deficit in history back in the day, and also signed the largest peacetime tax increase.

Republican George W. Bush took over a $200 billion annual budget surplus left by Democrat Bill Clinton, and handed President Obama a $1.2 trillion annual deficit.

Where was the Tea Party movement when Republicans were looting the Treasury?

perhaps you have conveniently forgotten that our liberal enemies had the power to force reagan to approve of equal raises in welfare waste to match every increase in military spending. the increases in military spending were temporary. theincreases in welfare entitlement were, of course, permanent, and just a base on which to expand welfare spending. a dollar spent on military is a dollar spent. a dollar spent on entitlements is just a down payment, to be followed by ever increasing spending, until the country is bankrupt. but you know that, and that is what you want, even though you would like to blame the outcome on anything else.

All of the presidents, since the 1950's have cotributed to the mess we're in. Our manufacturing jobs have continued to leave this country, since we rebuilt Japan. Now we have an 80% trade deficit with China. Both Republicans, and Democrats have perpetuated the problem. The only candidate that said he would do anything about the trade deficit is Romney. Newt had his chance, and perpetuated the problem. Obama's making it 100 times worse. Vote Romney, and let's get our jobs back.

Mitt Romney has the same problems as Obama. He could never pass a conservative background check.Obama has attacked everything that has made this country great and for Romney with Wall St.backing it will be crooked crony capitalism, business as usual.Couple that with his socially liberal background what changes? What will be his next great flip flop if he becomes president?

Mitt Romney is a dishonest liar. What exactly was he destroying when he and his staff grabbed up all those computers and hard drives? This guy will "evolve" just like Obama is doing now. He looks for the power base, the biggest punch, then seeks to harness it. He's not just a sneaky politician, he's a sneaky, hardhearted business man.

Being an Independent and not wanting to "return to Reagan/Bush" does not automatically mean Romney voted for any Democrat. Remember Bob Dole said that he would "be Reagan if that's what you want me to be."

Seems to me a little "critical thinking" about this weird ad (which implies much but says, really, nothing) is in order--by OUR side this time.

Not wanting to return to the Bush /Reagan years does mean exactly what is implied. It basically tells us what we already know- Romney is not conservative and won't push conservatism.
And as for what Bob Dole said: I don't remember him winning the Presidential race either-unless someone learns from his loss I'm not much inclined to listen to him. While I voted for him- just like McCain - I really didn't much care whether he won or not.

Mitt Romney's biggest mistake was living in Massachusetts and trying to be a successful politician. With all of his money, why did he not just move to a more conservative state and then he could have been "himself", whoever that may be. Look at Sen. Brown and how he has tried the balancing act in being a Republican in this ultra liberal bastion. You cannot become governor of Massachusetts by being a Rush Limbaugh quoting conservative.

Looks like several folks who call themselves Conservatives or Republicans are trying to re-elect Barack Obama by attacking their own. If this keeps up it will save Obama millions in campaign expenses because the Republicans will have done his hatchett job for him.

Sharing your ammunition with your enemy is not the best strategy.

I guess that explains the phone call the night I got the morning of the N. H. primary. I said hello, who's this?

They said "Washington, and we want you to vote for Romney"

I said "OK"

I guess that is happening in Florida now too. And I was wondering how Romney was winning because Washington wants him too. I thought it was because of me and all the other people who voted for him.

The electorate thinks we need a street fighter who can articulate conservative principles and translate them into action.
Gingrich offers some hope for that.
Romney has shown himself to be a stammering weakling willing to do anything to win, including attacking others with lies.

The press has left Willard alone for the most part, they have aired every claim that Willard is electable and every claim that Newt is too controversial...like Romney doesn't have the money to make that case himself.

Give the nomination to Willard, the press will proceed to destroy him with all the ammunition they have held back to ensure he gets the nomination...bet on it. A vote for Willard is a vote to re-elect Obama.
