Move over Mark Twain! I think Obama would second Matthews's statement. In fact, Mark Steyn thinks Obama views the presidency as beneath him; Obama thinks he is more suited for a Berlin Gate/Cairo-esque setting suitable for the president of the World.

Criss Matthews is either a heavy drinker -- or he is seriously deranged!

I enjoy watching a few minutes of MSNBC about twice per day -- Good Morning, Joe and Crissy, for the entertainment value. Watching them ensures at least one good laugh per day.

Lately, though, I'm starting to think that the possibility of the democratic party getting heaved into the trash can is doing something to their minds. They are all going NUTS -- even most of those two or three who were borderline stable folks.

There was a time, though it's getting really hard to recall, when Howard Fineman was a pretty fair journalist, Now, and for a long time, he occupies the same zany, vapid, clueless, caricatured Alfred E. For Matthews to use Huck Finn as his barometer of the American icon status of "Dreams of my Father" shows how shallow and unschooled Mr. Matthews is of African American contemporary thought and culture.
