All the votes have been tallied and Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton has won the plurality of the 2016 popular vote by about 3 million votes.

These numbers have liberal voters calling for an end to the electoral college, claiming that Clinton was the candidate chosen by the people.

Yet, President-elect Donald Trump has his own statistics of which to boast. His nearly 63 million votes are the most of any Republican candidate in history, the next closest being George W. Bush, who garnered 62 million votes in his 2004 campaign.

Following the vote totals, Trump tweeted that he could have won the popular vote as well if need be.
