Hillary PAC Highlights How Trump 'Respects' Women in New Ad

You may recall the ‘bimbo’ ad from March, in which a group of conservative women quoted several of Donald Trump’s controversial comments about their sex to explain why he is not getting their vote.

Now that Trump is the presumptive GOP nominee and the “woman’s card” is becoming a talking point in the campaign, a Hillary Clinton-backed Super PAC called Correct the Record is putting Trump’s provocative remarks back in the spotlight.

The spot, sarcastically entitled, “Donald Trump ‘Respects’ Women…” highlights some of Trump’s most controversial remarks about women’s looks. Here are a few:

On Rosie O’Donnell: “She came to my wedding. She ate like a pig”  “And — seriously, the wedding cake, it was like missing in action.”

To a female reporter: “Well, obviously it’s great outer beauty. I mean, we could say politically correct that look doesn’t matter, but the look obviously matters. Like you wouldn’t have your job if you weren’t beautiful.”

On Heidi Klum: “A person who’s flat chested is very hard to be a 10, OK?”

Last week, Trump accused Clinton of using the “woman’s card” as a misleading way to win votes. He pushed back against that tactic, however, arguing Clinton has no right to pander to women, considering she acted as an “enabler” for her husband’s infidelity when he was in the White House.

The Hillary camp is likely to remind voters every chance they can of Trump’s history of provocative remarks toward women, yet the businessman appears to be a lock for male voters. As Matt wrote on Monday, white, working class males really don’t like Clinton.

Even more alarming for Team Hillary are a new set of polls from Quinnipiac that show Trump narrowing her leads and even beating her in key swing states.

So, will those attack ads labeling Trump as a misogynist make any kind of significant difference?
