Ted Cruz Wins Utah Republican Caucus

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz handily won the Utah Republican caucus over Donald Trump and Gov. John Kasich. This win comes as no surprise as Cruz had been polling with double-digit leads over Trump, and garnered support from prominent Utahns.

While Utah’s delegates are awarded proportionally, a candidate will receive them all if he garners over 50 percent of the vote. While complete results were not in just yet, it's looking like Cruz will easily surpass that mark.

UPDATE: It's official: Cruz will win all 40 delegates.
