Texas Right to Life Launches Hard-Hitting Anti-Wendy Davis Ad

Texas Right to Life is not backing down from its criticism of Texas Senator Wendy Davis as she prepares to announce her campaign for governor. In a new 60-second radio ad that will be played in South Texas markets, listeners are reminded of Davis’ extreme views on abortion and the lengths she took to defend abortions that occur over halfway through a pregnancy.

The ad also touches on the fact that the babies Davis defended aborting are capable of feeling pain during the abortive procedure.

Davis is best known for her 11-hour filibuster against a law in Texas that would ban abortion after 20-weeks and improve clinic standards.

Here’s the text of the ad:

Nothing is more precious than our children. Medical technology has improved the lives of premature babies.

This past summer, Republicans and Democratic state legislators passed limits on second and third trimester abortions when babies are fully formed. Extremist groups protested this new law and rallied around abortion zealot State Senator Wendy Davis. Wendy Davis opposes any limits on abortion and even called late term abortions “sacred ground.”

But abortion is not sacred; babies feel the pain of abortion. That’s why state lawmakers from both parties came together to protect our most vulnerable children.

Wendy Davis puts late term abortion ahead of our faith, ahead of our families, and ahead of Texas values. Wendy Davis believes terminating babies even after 1/2 way through the pregnancy is okay. Wendy Davis is wrong on life, wrong for our children, and wrong for Texas.
