The stock market posted its biggest weekly gain since 2000, no doubt in part because of gains in the energy sector and because the Chairman of the Federal Reserve said that the government is winding up the "emergency measures" put in place to help banks.

But it's also worth noting that this was the week when it first seemed apparent -- or even possible -- that Barack Obama's free-market-unfriendly political agenda on health care (and thus, on other matters) might be in jeopardy.
