Well, yes, it's OK -- according to Harold Koh, a former dean of the Yale Law School who is Obama's nominee to serve as legal adviser to the State Department.

Koh is one of the lefties who believes wholeheartedly that there's nothing wrong with the US Constitution and law being deemed subservient to international law.
