Chinese Communist Party Throws Cold Water on Trump's Use of Hydroxychloroquine

President Donald Trump admitted to taking Hydroxychloroquine, a malaria drug that is also used to treat Lupus and Rheumatoid Arthritis, to prevent contracting the Wuhan coronavirus. Trump's political rivals, including House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and members of the mainstream media, have taken shots at the president for taking the drug, particularly because it hasn't been scientifically proven to be, without a doubt, effective against the virus.

But the biggest shot came from Hu Xijin, the editor-in-chief of China Communist Party's official publication, Global Times. According to Hu, President Trump partaking in "witchcraft" by taking Hydroxychloroquine, The Daily Mail reported.

"President Trump is leading the US's struggle against pandemic with witchcraft, and as a result, more than 90,000 people have died," Hu wrote Tuesday in a now-deleted tweet. "If it were in China, the White House would have been burned down by angry people."

It's no surprise that this kind of propaganda is coming out of the regime. Chinese Ambassador to the U.S. Cui Tiankai was pushing the idea that the Wuhan coronavirus started in the United States and spread through the U.S. military.

Hu himself pumped out other forms of propaganda. Here are just a few of his previous tweets:

China is going to continue to do everything in their power to deflect and try to place the blame on everyone else. What's sad is Hu Xijin is just one person in the Chinese Communist Party but he's one of many who are repeatedly pushing propaganda.

China has never cared about what happened to the rest of the world. They only care about their public image.
