After Attorney General William Barr vindicated President Donald Trump of colluding with Russia, Eric and Donald Trump Jr. slammed the mainstream media for pushing the collusion theory over the last 22 months. Specifically, the two brothers called out CNN and MSNBC for their "fake news" reporting.
But more than anything, the Trump brothers want an apology:
How about a simple apology from the #MSM for the hell everyone has been put through for the past two + years? @CNN @MSNBC @NBCNews @ABC @CBS @nytimes @washingtonpost

The farce that the Democrats & their media lackeys perpetrated on the American people for over 2 years should never be forgotten!
— Donald Trump Jr. (@DonaldJTrumpJr) March 24, 2019
“The Special Counsel’s investigation did not find that the Trump campaign or anyone associated with it conspired or coordinated with Russia...”
Donald Trump Jr. also released the following statement:
After more than 2 years of non-stop conspiracy theories on CNN, MSNBC, Buzzfeed, and the rest of the mainstream media, as well as from Democrats in Washington, the Mueller Report proves what those of us with sane minds have known all along, there was ZERO collusion with Russia.
Sadly, instead of apologizing for needlessly destabilizing the country in a transparent attempt to delegitimize the 2016 election, it's clear that the Collusion Truthers in the media and the Democratic Party are only going to double down on sick and twisted conspiracy theories moving forward.
It's my hope that honest journalists within the media have the courage to hold these now fully debunked truthers accountable and threat them with the scorn and ridicule that they so deserve.

No Collusion, No Obstruction, Complete and Total EXONERATION. KEEP AMERICA GREAT!

The sad part of this scenario: it's very unlikely that the mainstream media will stay they were wrong about the collusion theory. Instead of saying, "I'm sorry and I was wrong," they'll now shift their focus onto how Trump "wasn't entirely exonerated."
