Bielat Campaign: Independents Flocking Away From Barney Frank

Sean Bielat was all smiles during his weekend rally with Scott Brown in Foxboro, MA -- maybe he had just seen his latest batch of internal polls.  I spoke with a high-ranking member of the Bielat campaign late last night and learned they are feeling very optimistic about their chances.

"It's going great,"  I was told.  "Our latest internals show us ahead of Barney by 20 percentage points among independents.  That number has grown week after week, and has now reached its highest point of the entire campaign."

For a refresher on Bielat's potential path to victory, check out my report from the district, as well as this recent polling memo.
