Man With Firearms, Ammo, and Quran Arrested at Disneyland Paris Hotel

A man carrying two firearms and ammunition concealed in a bag was arrested at Disneyland Paris while attempting to check into a hotel on the property. The man and his female companion fled after Disney's Hotel New York security noticed the firearms in his bag during an x-ray scan, but they were both eventually located and detained.

Police reports indicate that the man was carrying a copy of the Quran and was previously unknown to intelligence services. He is reportedly a resident of Paris.

In the U.S., both Disneyland in Anaheim and Walt Disney World in Orlando beefed up security outside of the parks and instituted new rules regarding costumes following the terrorist attack in San Bernardino.

Disneyland Paris is one of the most popular attractions for tourists in Europe.
