Gavin Newsom decided he did not need to wear a mask at a big football game in the middle of a city where you have to wrap your face in a cloth just to get some tacos. He got photographed maskless, then lied about it. And you are expected to take it. After all, this is no longer about science, if it ever was. This is about you peons knowing your place.
And even as these schmucks demand obedience, they quiver in terror at the thought of Joe Rogan saying unapproved stuff. I keep telling you – these people only have a Potemkin façade of strength. They are weak, and their quest to shut up everyone who refuses to kowtow to them is proof.
Finally, and not unrelated to these other phenomena, is the whole Georgetown Law fiasco where Ilya Shapiro was suspended not for lying, but for telling the truth. We are seeing a ruling caste entering freefall, people, and it’ll be hilarious to watch them hit the ground with a SPLAT!
Masks Are Signs of Serfdom
I am not much for the French, but they sure got it right with their garbage ruling caste a couple hundred years ago. The let-them-eat-cake crowd found out the very hard way that people have only a limited capacity for having their faces pushed into the mud before they get really, really mad. The constant stream of photos of elite jerks who bind your kids in shame bandanas and lecture you constantly about your hatred of science is bad enough. It’s worse that these creeps are inevitably surrounded by hordes of servants and courtiers obediently wearing their badges of servitude.
Masks are not about preventing disease. We all know that’s not a thing. They are about status. There are the maskless and free, and then there’s you.
You should be furious.
Now, some people do want to wear masks. These are the soulless suburban wine women and the barking mad freaks of the left whose mask fetish is a feeble attempt to fill up the hole inside them where meaning should reside. But most people are stuck, forced by rules that manifestly do not apply to their self-appointed betters, to engage in this degrading charade.
And the degradation is part of it, maybe the biggest part. It delights these petty tyrants that they can not only not obey the rules they make, but that everyone knows it. And that everyone else has to suck it up.
Bereft of any understanding of history or human nature, since they dwell in a bubble of people who know nothing of the first and have been sheltered from the second, our ridiculous elite believes there are no consequences to their petty cruelty. They simply cannot imagine a scenario where the people say “No more.” Of course, neither could Marie Antoinette.
Joe Rogan Must Be Stopped
I don’t listen to Joe Rogan, but I should probably start since all the right people hate him. Of course, I certainly don’t listen to Neil Young or Joni Mitchell either, but then I’m not 106.
The urge to put the peasants in their place with mask mandates is of a kind with the urge to shut up everyone who refuses to tow the party line. They know they are trash. They know that their power, such as it is, is based simply upon inertia. They happen to run the institutions and it’s a lot of trouble to dislodge them, so they expect (hope) we’ll just continue on this way and not bother with the hassle of tossing them out.
But the persistence of Joe Rogan and his unapproved, anti-regime narrative is evidence that slowly but surely the backlash is coming. Name another garbage elite in history that has persisted forever. The elite in Red China is 75 years old. The one in Russia is just 30. Ours is a bit older, since there is a reasonable argument that our elite today is really a product of the 1960s and is therefore perhaps 50. The elites that preceded them? Gone, in varying levels of chaos. The point is that nothing last forever, particularly nothing that sucks.
The clock is ticking. They are getting antsy. Trying to force a gag (both figurative and literal) around the opposition’s mouth is a sign of weakness. These dummies are vicious enough to hold on to power, but not smart enough to. The clock is ticking.
Never Apologize
So, libertarian law guru Ilya Shapiro got a gig at Georgetown Law. When Grandpa Badfinger got his chance to keep his racist promise to only appoint a black woman, Shapiro observed that the nominee would forever bear an asterisk since she had been selected for her race and gender. This is not only true, but it is central to Biden’s decision. He said it. And the libs love it. Then Shapiro said it. And they freaked out.
Of course people will think she was picked for a reason other than her abilities. Biden promised he would pick his nominee for a reason other than her abilities.
Apparently, telling the truth is racist, even when the truth is that Democrats are racist. You just can’t say it, even though they say it. It’s like CRT. No, it is not taught in schools and also it must continue to be taught in schools.
Regardless, conservatives need to understand that the institutions – like academia – are past hope. They must be leveled and rebuilt into something that’s not trash. Anyone who does not get this, absolutely understand this, should not be elected dog catcher.
