Joe Biden is something of an enigma. The image with the most publicity is that of a cognitively- impaired puppet who signs whatever is put in front of him. Implicit in this image is the presence of an eminence grise—Obama, Soros, Pelosi, whomever—the real power behind the throne. His handlers, critics suggest, are using Biden as a figurehead who will eventually step aside for Kamala Harris and the full-fledged leftist agenda.
"I don’t think there’s any doubt Biden’s senile,” said respected Fox News political analyst Brit Hume. We have a lot of evidence for this interpretation: hiding out in his basement during the election campaign; his inability to put together a coherent sentence; his refusal to hold press conferences and to answer questions from the media other than the ones that appear to be scripted; refusing to meet with foreign heads-of-state; falling all over himself.
If I had to put money on it, I would bet that Brit Hume is correct. There is, however, another possibility. Maybe Joe is not as dotty as he appears. Maybe the whole senile trip is a carefully rehearsed act. Maybe, underneath it all, Biden is an incredibly shrewd politician.
Could it be that Biden is just pretending to be an airhead? That, in reality, he knows exactly what he is doing? Dr. Kevin O’Connor of George Washington University seemed to support that conclusion when he released a medical summary in which he described Biden as a “healthy, vigorous, 77-year-old male, who is fit to successfully execute the duties of the Presidency to include those as Chief Executive, Head of State and Commander in Chief.”
If Biden is fit for the job, why would he want us to think he is an incompetent halfwit? Answer number one: Coming off as good old Uncle Joe may have given him the necessary edge over Trump. People who dislike Trump feel safer with someone they perceive to be a nice guy, despite the appearance of ineptitude. Answer number two: The pretense may be designed to throw us off the scent as Biden dismantles our country piece by piece.

Look at the damage Biden has done in three years. Economic regression. Raising taxes. Staggering inflation. Opening the border to an avalanche of illegal immigration and deadly drugs. Capitulation to foreign energy. Re-entering the Paris Accord and the Iran deal. Going soft on foreign policy. Humiliating defeat in Afghanistan. Attempting to pack the Supreme Court. Erosion of military effectiveness. In other words, reversing all the excellent things Trump did.
Biden’s worst offense has been the insistence that America must apologize for systemic racism. Trump forbade the use of Critical Race Theory in federal agencies. Biden has reversed it. Stanley Kurtz, writing in National Review, described it this way: “The woke revolution in the classroom is about to go federal.” Biden, said Kurtz, intends “to impose the most radical forms of Critical Race Theory on America’s schools.”
If Biden is successful, our children will be taught that America is a racist country, that all whites are racist oppressors, and that blacks are helpless victims of systemic racism and white privilege. “Democrats have usurped the purpose of education from one of learning to one of, ultimately, Marxist indoctrination and the destruction of the values that undergird American civilization,” said DePaul University Professor Jason D. Hill. “They are using children as political pawns, weapons of mass destruction, and objectified instruments in their war against the United States of America.” In American Marxism, Mark Levin says, “Rather than learning allegiance to the nation’s founding and ideals, and celebrating a free and civil society, successive generations of students are taught disdain for their own country, its history, and its founding, and are encouraged to renounce it.”
Biden is doing everything he can to foment racial discord and political divisiveness. The ultimate aim of CRT and the left wing of the Democratic Party is the destruction of America as we know it, replacing it with a Marxist liberal utopia. Divide and conquer. Joe’s actions would be a hard sell if the public believed that he really knew what he was doing. Goofy Joe gets away with it because we don’t take him seriously. If the public believes he is just an impaired old man, Biden can avoid taking the blame for wrecking the country. No one will take Biden seriously until the moment when it becomes apparent that, while we were looking the other way, our lives have been changed completely. Then it will be too late.
Which theory do you support? Which of Joe’s faces is the real one? Is he a senile old fool or a political genius? Ironically, it may not matter which one is correct. The result will be the same either way. Thanks to Joe Biden, America is becoming more and more like Venezuela.
