Democrats run around whining about “threats to democracy” like they’re Chicken Little having just been hit on the head. While they certainly do act like someone who’s recently suffered a closed-head injury, they also have the benefit of being in opposition to Republicans. And when you’re in opposition to Republicans, no matter how bad you may be, you can always count on them to be even dumber than you are and saving your bacon. With that in mind, and the events of this week, it’s important to remember who the players on their team are and just how awful the political left is. They are, in fact, the true threat to democracy.
The old adage goes, “If you want to know what Democrats are up to, just listen to what they’re accusing Republicans of doing.” It’s true, but it doesn’t go far enough anymore. Democrats accuse Republicans of everything under the Sun, including the power of the Sun in making the planet warmer, so accusations of evil are all that fall from their mouths. It’s boring, and one of the main reasons CNN and MSNBC have such difficulty attracting and maintaining an audience.
If everyone is Hitler, then no one is Hitler. Anyone accidentally coming across Joy Reid or Rachel Maddow would think these people are insane; that the old “Red Scare” people Democrats rail against are now dressing in drag and screaming about a Nazi behind every tree.
But there’s a reason to call everyone Hitler or a Nazi. It’s the same reason to tell everyone Republicans are trying to kill people with their health care bill, as Maddow and the gang did in 2017: it’s that you hope someone will murder at least some of them, when Bernie Sanders devotee and Maddow super-fan James Hodgkinson tried to kill all the Republicans he could on a baseball field in Virginia. He’d been told by the MSNBC “truth-tellers” that the GOP plan to repeal and replace Obamacare would “kill” 10,000 people per year, as was the popular lie on the left at the time. If you believe you could stand in the way of 10,000 unnecessary deaths per year, wouldn’t it be irresponsible to not act? Just as, if you truly believe your opponent is the second coming of Hitler, or somehow worse than Hitler, you almost have moral obligation to act, don’t you?
It's weird how the party constantly whining about “violent rhetoric” and living in fear that Republicans will “inspire” someone to do something horrible with their words, actually has done exactly that a lot of times, but still engage in it. There is no Maddow conspiracy theory she’s ever admitted was false, Chris Hayes hasn’t confessed to getting the “Putin Puppet” story wrong, Larry O’Donnell does care that he lies every night; they seem to busy trying to inspire another Hodgkinson.
What other conclusion can be drawn when you say words cause violence while demonizing anyone who disagrees with you as history’s greatest monsters? If you’re unstable enough to believe these people, wouldn’t it stand to reason that some of the audience would be unstable enough to travel across the country for the express purpose of executing a Supreme Court Justice and his family in the name of “justice”?
What can you expect from a party with Joe Biden, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton as their moral compass?
Barack Obama victimhooded himself into the Oval Office and hundreds of millions of dollars. If only we could all be victims of the fundamentally racist country like he has been. He spent 8 years in the White House blaming everything bad on his predecessor while spending the 4 years after taking credit for everything good that happened with his successor. It’s an amazing feat to not be responsible for anything when you’re making all the decisions, but claim credit once the things you did were undone. It’s probably racist to point it, but whatever.
Hillary Clinton’s biggest accomplishment in life is repulsing her husband sexually and then tolerating, even excusing, his philandering ways to the point that she should qualify as an honorary Kennedy. Can you name anything else? She’s responsible for the failed state formerly known as Libya and the open human slavery happening there, but Democrats don’t look at slavery as either a problem or an accomplishment, it’s just what they’ve always done. She also managed to have a child with a husband who claimed to be sterile; a child who, just coincidentally, looks nothing like him and is the spitting imageof her good friend.
And then there’s Joe Biden. The guy kicks his dog, is it any wonder it bites everyone? And if you’re the “kick your dog” type, what kind of kids might you raise? What might you do for money that, at a minimum, skirts the law? He’s a bad person – the more he insists he isn’t, the clearer it is. Good people don’t have to declare themselves to be good, we just know.
These are the leaders of the Democrats; their moral compasses. They’re garbage, they really are. You’ll find more honesty in a shoe, would have a more meaningful conversation with one too. The shoe would actually care more for the country and the people in it than they do.
These people profess to care about democracy while suing every single time they lose a referendum. They burn more calories trying to disqualify overseas absentee military ballots than our enemies do trying to defeat us. They are hypocrites and bad people, and I mean that in the nastiest way it can be taken.
The left in this country is the only real threat to democracy on our shores. Yes, they are importing another threat from our south, but they’re responsible for that too. The next time some airhead left-wing Member of Congress or MSNBC host, orsomeone in one of your classes, or some idiot at work criesabout “threats to democracy,” tell them to find a reflective surface if they really want to see one.
