The horrors committed in Israel by Hamas terrorists have shaken the world. Beheaded infants, raped children, tortured women, executed families – once unthinkable, these brutal acts of savagery will now forever be unforgettable.
Like decent people across America and the world, I grieve for Israel. I wonder how a world that fought Nazism could allow its evils to be repeated. And I pray for peace to be restored soon.
But I also fear for our nation.
With uncanny timing, Joe Biden announced shortly before Hamas’ attack that work on our southern border wall would resume. Perhaps he felt guilty making his press secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre, lie to the nation that he’s been “doing everything that he can to deal with the border.”
Regardless, many fear his 180-degree turn will turn out to be too little, too late.
When Biden first came to power, he tossed President Trump’s border security measures right out the window. In its place, he issued a proclamation that literally said, “building a massive wall that spans the entire southern border is not a serious policy solution. It is a waste of money that diverts attention from genuine threats to our homeland security.”
He was apparently unimpressed by President Trump’s success in dramatically reducing the number of illegals entering America. So, Biden canceled the wall, stopped enforcing our laws, nixed the “Remain in Mexico” policy, and utterly demoralized our border patrol. Ever since, the American people have been subjected to a shocking wave of assaults, rapes, murders, sex trafficking, thefts, and fentanyl overdoses.
What keeps me up at night, though, is that the worst may yet be to come.

In just the past two years, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has encountered 72,823 "special interest aliens" illegally crossing into the U.S. More than seventy thousand. Hailing from countries known to "harbor or favor terrorism," most flew to Mexico because they know Biden opened the southern border to any and all who want to come in. So, they jetted in from far-off places like Iran and Iraq, Yemen and Syria, Pakistan and Afghanistan so they could melt into the enormous masses of illegals streaming across our unprotected border.
Just as shocking, 283 people named on the FBI’s Terror Watch List have been encountered illegally entering America since Joe Biden took up residence in the White House. They include Afghans known to have emplaced improvised explosive devices (IEDs) that killed and maimed U.S. soldiers. They also include terror suspects affiliated with such murderous groups as al Qaeda, Hamas, Hezbollah, and ISIS. And these are just the ones we know about. Among the millions of "gotaways" are doubtless many other "special interest aliens" and suspected terrorists.
To put Joe Biden’s 283 into perspective, three people on the Terror Watch List were encountered in 2020. You read that right. Three.
Now, people get on the Terror Watch List for a reason: they have been directly linked by our intelligence agencies to terrorism. They didn’t apply for asylum in America, having seen the error of their ways. No, they were caught coming here illegally, thanks to Biden’s open border. And it’s reasonable to fear they came here to attack America.
Adding to the risk we face, thousands of Chinese men of military age have illegally crossed into the U.S. since Biden erased our border. According to the esteemed Gordon Chang of the Gatestone Institute, a large number of those crossing the border from China are “males of military age who are unattached to family groups.” In fact, House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Mark Green has confirmed more than 10,000 Chinese nationals have illegally crossed into the U.S. under Biden, constituting “a massive 300% increase” just since 2022. If that sounds like a lot to you, you’re right – in fact, it’s equivalent to ten People’s Liberation Army (PLA) battalions or, even more ominously, more than 100 highly-trained units of the PLA’s Special Operations Force teams.
I think it’s a safe bet these military age Chinese nationals aren’t coming here to find jobs, settle down, and create their own American Dream. Instead, they have been labeled “saboteurs” who Chang warns will be activated “on the first day of a war in Asia” to create chaos here. That’s why experts predict war with China won’t erupt in Taiwan but right here at home, as our power grid, water supply, and population centers are targeted for horrific attacks.
Where in America are all of these people hiding – and what exactly are they planning to do? Washington is finally confronting the very real threat that what Hamas did to Israel could happen here. But there’s one important distinction: those who would do America harm don’t have to break through a border to do it.
Because there was no border, they’re already here.
“National security begins with border security,” President Trump wisely said. “Foreign terrorists will not be able to strike America if they cannot get into our country.” But that unassailable fact has been completely upended by the Biden administration.
It took only 19 terrorists to kill 2,977 innocent men, women, children on 9/11. How many more will die because of the hundreds or perhaps even thousands of terrorists Biden has allowed into our country?
If our worst fears are realized, American towns and families could suffer like Israel’s are now. And if they do, Joe Biden, his so-called “elite” cronies, and their wide-open border will be entirely to blame.
