Will the Dems' health care Christmas Present to America be an improvement or detriment to our health care system?

"Let's be very honest about what this is about. It's not about bashing democrats, it's not about taxes, they have no idea what the Boston Tea Party was about. They don't know their history at all. This is about hating a black man in the White House. This is racism straight up. That is nothing but a bunch of tea-bagging rednecks. And there is no way around that... They are now dependent upon immigrant bashing, and hating the black guy in the White House. Will people act on that? It's not new, but Fox doesn't mind fomenting it. Michelle Bachman doesn't mind fomenting it. Glen Beck doesn't mind fomenting it... but what have they got if they don't have this?" ~Janeane Garaofalo, 4/16 MSNBC.

Note to Rupert Murdoch: Janeane Garofalo your d-lister on "24" needs to have her mouth washed out with soap, she should be spanked, and her parents should be called to take her home early today. She has slandered your broadcast network, doesn't seem to understand the difference between your news operation and the entertainment company that writes her paycheck, and is perhaps one of the more vile human beings to ever call herself an American.

But enough with her best qualities.

The angry and ignorant woman slandered the more than 1 million plus people who took part in the planning of, the carrying out of, and the participation of the Tea Parties that have sent the message with clarity and boldness to Washington DC that the taxation and spending will stop. In addition to that she lies a lot.

A lot...

Of the Americans who gathered, made signs and protested the new spending policies of both the current and previous administration, and additionally the new tax policies of the current one, Garofalo brazenly stated, that such protests were racist. Which certainly explains the large number of ethnicities present in the Tea Parties across the nation last Wednesday.

Beyond that Garofalo continued with the sort of inexplicable obsessive commentary carried exclusively on MSNBC that continually referred to the sexual act of dipping testicles into one's mouth. The act, known as tea-bagging, was banter for MSNBC host Rachel Maddow--who seems to prefer women, as well as the femininely challenged Garofalo among others.

But liberal media and pop culture icons were not to be outdone by actual representatives elected to office in the People's House. Nancy Pelosi labeled the grassroots that put the 2800+ rallies together as "astroturf." Illinois lawmaker Jan Shakowsky slandered the Chicagoans who participated (in addition to the rest of the nation) as "despicable" and "shameful."

CNN and MSNBC attempted to pretend that the tea parties weren't happening. The White House lied to the American people saying the President was completely unaware of them. And some elected officials who were the worst offenders, tried unpersuasive methods of labeling the tea party events as organized by Fox News, big corporate interests, or even most laughably the GOP.

CNN was eventually labeled as irresponsible for not providing coverage of the events, by Howard Kurtz as well as Lou Dobbs two of its leading voices. On the actual day Fox News scored a ratings coup by leveraging 200,000 more viewers than all the rest of the cable news universe combined. One last joke with the numbers, the AP and other national liberal media attempted to put the nationwide turnout at less than 250,000.

Pajamas Media (PJTV) was able to get "citizen cams" at only some of the events and had turn-out estimates from their coverage alone at more than 500,000. Yet PJTV was unable to cover even half the total number of 2800+ events that were organized. Continued...

I posted a similar post once before. I left MA in 1986 having returned twice in my career becaus it is my home state. The stae of liberalism had advanced so far that I founf myself a starnger in my own land. I actualy ahd two perofessional IT people try to convince me that I should not judge homosexuality as an aberrant behavior until I had, at least, tried it a couple of times. Sweet Jesus (that respectfully), is that what we have come to in the state of my birth??
I asked for a transfer back to a Mid Atlantic state where within three years the state elcted a Democartic Governor, who, within one week of taking office broke the major campaign promise he ran on. I then had the good fortune to transfer to the "deep south" and eventually found my way to Georgia. I am more at home here. Of course, young people have a more open attitude about some things in life than us older folks, but respect is still in place and conservatism is not yet dead.

I surprise myself by entertaining the thought that secession may be a very good thing.

A message to Liberal/Leftists
For any of the "mistakes" of the Bush administraion, which he as a true American stated that he regrets in hindsight.
WE(all Americans) had the highest wealth/Dow hit 14000, unemployment was in the mid 4% range, no more terrorist attacks(due to the fear of what America could/would do to any enemy), and all the while STILL funding schools/social programs/welfare/social security/allowing gay marriage as state rights/hospital care for illegal aliens...and so on. The greater American wealth gave room for liberal and conservative states to move their agendas forth.
Liberal states found they could tax their citizens more to grow government. Conservative states sought to find ways to lessen tax burdens.
All of this happened with Democrat votes as well. Liberals should be proud that they got liberal spending as well as the conservative ideals. Bush let liberal earmarks get packed in on every bill. Liberals should see that they faired well under Bush, but we see that bipartisan is not really what they want.
I for one would rather live in back in '00 to '08, when we all got to live in our richest era in history, all while we fought for our rights in the world against those who had chosen to derail us.
