Will Congress pass Obamacare by the end of the year?

Standing between liberty and tyranny is you.

That's one of many essential lessons found in a powerful and necessary new book, Mark Levin's "Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto" (Threshold, 2009).

Levin's tome sounds a call to arms for conservatives, urging every last one to realize the stakes and engage in public affairs to the best of their ability. Understanding that it's not always the first instinct of the conservative to take on Washington, he urges more focus on our nation's capital, whether by going there, running for office closer to home, or educating those in your living room. Doing your job and living your life are important contributions, Levin writes, but "it is no longer enough." America needs more from its concerned citizens.

When the actions of a Republican president set the scene for the current commander in chief's CEO-firing, it's time for a new level of attention from all Americans. In Levin's words we need "a new generation of conservative activists, larger in number, shrewder and more articulate than before, who seek to blunt the Statist's counterrevolution -- not to imitate it -- and gradually and steadily reverse course. More conservatives than before will need to seek elective and appointed office, fill the ranks of the administrative state, hold teaching positions in public schools and universities, and find positions in Hollywood and the media where they can make a difference in infinite ways."

We appear to be living in a paradigm shift, during which the government is taking over in unprecedented ways. If you're uncomfortable with what you're seeing, get to work. Continued...

The Libs Are PISSED!!
The obamaniacs are pisdriteoff, because, in the arena of ideas, they know they are losing all arguments, and in 2 years from now, they start beginning to lose all this power they just now, got their grubby lil hands on. I know...all you so called educated lefty's, not a very grown up, or brilliantly articulate statement. Oh well,...Get over me!

Hal Again You Missed The Point
Would you fly in a major airline if you knew the pilot was only 10 years old? Nor would I.

Iran I cannot say what they believe, but I know that as a supporter of spiritual disciplines and human dignity and respect to all people, so I hate evil and corruption, and intolerance and discrimination against the decent charitable actions and service of all beliefs, be they Christian, Islamic, secularist or Jew.

Spiritual disciplines are good for all people, Politician, magician, cons just much as a saint too. Could you describe a spiritual discipline Hal? Most people do not even know what spirituality is, and assume something totally erroneous. It brings us face to face with our true potential, as we face our own weaknesses and flaws. It motivates us to overcome careless and selfish dispositions and attitudes that lead to selfish behaviors. It leads us to fathom the needs of others, because we find that our own needs are the same. Give for the love of giving, not for the love of gain; this is the secret of success in love, fortune and fame, which is bestowed upon the humblest of people.

We cannot appreciate others if we cannot appreciate ourselves, nor can we love or trust others, if we cannot love or trust ourselves. Hal you are an intelligent person. Your understanding is unique to your interests, hopes and dreams. We are no different in these things. I want to serve and encourage the best in others, and to share how and why I am convinced in the truth of the things that I cherish and love, so that I may do as much good as I am able while I am here on this time capsule we call earth, just as you do. To do that, I must recognize where I may improve, just as you do too. I think Hal that we can make the world a better place just by being a good example, faithful in all that we do, doing if for all of the right reasons. Thank you Hal

My God bless you, and everyone who seeks the truth with the purpose of serving, that they may overcome evil.
