The way of Rome
America is going the way of Rome. And the reason can be summed up succinctly by the following quote:

"Most men do not desire freedom. They wish only for a just master." Salust

We all want to be irresponsible kids instead of responsible adults. And as long as we have a 'parent' (governement) that indulges us, feeds and clothes us, and kisses our owies, we'll eat what they tell us, sleep where they tells us, work where they tell us. Just as long as we get our bread and circuses.
