Islamists' Catch-22

Will the Dems' health care Christmas Present to America be an improvement or detriment to our health care system?

O Unfortunately, it is not just some companies that are submitting to this sort of coercion – a status known in Islam as “dhimmitude.” Western officials and governmental entities appear increasingly disposed to go along with such efforts to mutate warnings about Shariah law and its adherents from “politically incorrect” to “criminally punishable” activity.

For example, in Britain, Canada and even the United States, the authorities are declining to describe the true threat posed by Shariah Law and are using various techniques to discourage – and in some cases, prosecute – those who do. We are witnessing the spectacle of authors’ books being burned, ministers prosecuted, documentary film-makers investigated and journalists hauled before so-called “Human Rights Councils” on charges of offending Muslims, slandering Islam or other “Islamophobic” conduct. Jurists on both sides of the Atlantic are acceding to the insinuation of Shariah law in their courts. And Wall Street is increasingly joining other Western capital markets in succumbing to the seductive Trojan Horse of “Shariah-Compliant Finance.”

Let’s be clear: The Islamists are trying to establish a kind of Catch-22: If you point out that they seek to impose a barbaric, repressive and seditious Shariah Law, you are insulting their faith and engaging in unwarranted, racist and bigoted fear-mongering. On the other hand, pursuant to Shariah, you must submit to that theo-political-legal program. If you don’t, you can legitimately be killed. It is not an irrational fear to find that prospect unappealing. And it is not racist or bigoted to decry and oppose Islamist efforts to bring it about – ask the anti-Islamist Muslims who are frequently accused of being Islamophobes!

If we go along with our enemies’ demands to criminalize Islamophobia, we will mutate Western laws, traditions, values and societies beyond recognition. Ultimately, today’s totalitarian ideologues will triumph where their predecessors were defeated.

To avoid such a fate, those who love freedom must oppose the seditious program the Islamists call Shariah – and all efforts to impose its 1st Amendment-violating blasphemy, slander and libel laws on us in the guise of preventing Western Islamophobia.

I don't know if you are aware or not, but there is a whole science of study of the occassions of revelation and occasions of ahadith, and understanding of scriptures which cannot be learned by simple browsing, watching CNN or pervert documentaries like that of Mr. Wilders.

And you have quoted from Al-Quran 8:39. Please also tell us why you have not quoted 8:38 and 8:80. I will tell you, because if you did then it would expose the context, just like in the case of Mr Wilders. The translation of three verses 8:39-40 is as follows:

8:38 Tell those who disbelieve that if they cease (from persecution of believers) that which is past will be forgiven them; but if they return (thereto) then the example of the men of old hath already gone (before them, for a warning).

8:39 And fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is all for Allah. But if they cease, then lo! Allah is Seer of what they do.

8:40 And if they turn away, then know that Allah is your Befriender - a Transcendent Patron, a Transcendent Helper!

This makes it clear that this killing is in battle field against those who persecute. And if peace is offered then it is incumbent on Muslims to accept it.

Your quote of 9:5 is incomplete and out of context without the 4 preceding verses which state that the disbelievers with whom you had made the treaty have broken it (by killing innocent civilians) and now its war time. In 9:5 God is telling that in the battle filed kill them where you find them.

And then you forgot to quote 9:6 which state that if they seek asylum then don't only give it to them but escort them to a place of safety.

There are a lot more verses in the bible which are a lot more violent while being quoted within context. But if one starts quoting bible out of context then the list will become unmanageable. But this is not my purpose. My purpose is to clarify the misunderstandings that biased media and people like Mr. Wilders spread among the masses.

PuppyChen - You are misinformed
Dear brother,

I think you are grossly misinformed about Islam and its texts. Although you have quoted from Quran and Ahadith, but the translation you have picked is not accurate. There is no such thing as abrogation in Quran. All the verses of quran are valid and unconflicting. correct translation of Al-Quran 2:106 is "Nothing of our revelation (even a single verse) do we abrogate or cause be forgotten, but we bring (in place) one better or the like thereof. Knowest thou not that Allah is Able to do all things?". The better verse does not abrogate, rather corroborates the previous one.

This is in stark context with todays Christian belief where such abbrogation is inherent in the structure of bible.

And in the hadith you have quoted "jihad" as "holy war". Again this is a wrong translation. Jihad does not mean holy war. In fact in the whole of Quran "holy war" is not mentioned. In arabic "holy war" "Harb Muqaddasa". Who coined this term holy war. It was the Crusaders in order to motivate Christian forces to attack Jerusalem.

And you are twisting the context of hadith. Muslims can only wage war to remove oppression. So if killing is required to remove oppression then that is Jihad. Jihad is also to control ones anger. It is also to be patient. There are 9 different forms of Jihad, and none of the forms results in injustice. Infact all 9 forms are meant to remove injustice or oppression.
