Was the Copenhagen Global Warming Summit Walk-Out a Win for the U.S.?

Republicans will deeply regret the confirmation of Eric Holder as Attorney General. During his confirmation hearings, Holder declared without hesitation, "Waterboarding is torture." This should have terrified Republican senators because it was a sure signal to the left-wing blogosphere that they are going to enjoy four years of show trials.

Torture is a crime and Holder will prosecute President Bush and other officials for condoning it. Republicans should have jumped on his comments and opposed Holder's nomination for these dangerous views on what constitutes torture in the fight against terrorism.

Republicans tried to pressure Mr. Holder to promise not to prosecute, but he clearly refused saying, "No one is above the law." By "no one,” he meant President Bush, Vice President Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Alberto Gonzales and any other top Bush administration officials who authorized waterboarding. Or, as Keith Olbermann at MSNBC calls it, the "Bush System of Torture."

All the talk of bipartisanship is a sham, and Republicans are foolish to listen to any of the sweet talk. President Obama agreed with Attorney General Holder when he used the identical phrasing with ABC's George Stephanopoulos on January 11 saying, "No one is above the law." Thus far, President Obama has been vague about investigating the Bush administration saying, “He wants to look forward.”

But Obama told the Philadelphia Daily News that, if there was evidence of criminality, he would ask his Justice Department to “immediately review the information that's already there and to find out are there inquiries that need to be pursued.” Once again he reaffirmed “nobody is above the law.”

This is how the whole scenario unfolds. First you will hear calls for prosecution from The Huffington Post, Daily Kos, MSNBC, and other liberal ideologues of the media.

Secondly, these calls will be reinforced by comments from the left-wing legal authorities or so-called "experts" such as George Washington University Law Professor Jonathan Turley, who told Rachel Maddow of MSNBC: "These are war crimes…. we were going to have a true change, where people would be held accountable. And all this talk about civility makes it sound like it's just simply uncivil to investigate people for war crimes."

Law Professor Lawrence Velvel was even blunter when he told the Los Angeles Times: “We must insist on appropriate punishments including, if guilt is found, the hangings visited upon top German and Japanese war criminals in the 1940s.” Hangings? Such insanity wouldn’t be taken serious under normal circumstances. Continued...

Collins, Specter & Snowe just SOLD OUT..

BREAKING NEWS:

Senators Collins, Specter & Snowe just sold the United States out. Calling them "RINOs" is an insult to RINOs.

WASHINGTON (AP) - With job losses soaring nationwide, Senate Democrats reached agreement with KEY REPUBLICANS Friday night on an economic stimulus measure at the heart of President Barack Obama's plan for combatting the worst recession in decades. "The American people want us to work together. They don't want to see us dividing along partisan lines on the most serious crisis confronting our country," said SEN. SUSAN COLLINS of Maine, one of two GOP senators who signaled support for the bill.

Officials put the cost of the measure at $780 billion in tax cuts and new spending combined. No details were immediately available, and there appeared to be some confusion even among senators about the price tag as floor debate continued late into the night.

The agreement capped a tense day of backroom negotiations in which Senate Majority Leader HARRY REID, joined by White House chief of staff RAHM EMANUEL, sought to attract the support of enough Republicans to give the measure the needed 60-vote majority.

In addition to COLLINS, Sen. ARLEN SPECTER, R-Pa., said he would vote for the bill. Sen. OLYMPIA SNOWE, R-Maine, remained uncommitted." (cap emphasis mine)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Thanks to these three SELL-OUTS (Collins, Specter and Snowe), a few years from now, our country will be forced to default on its debt obligations.
That’ll be after hyper-inflation has destroyed the value of our currency.
These 3 Traitors have enabled the Leftocrats to BORROW nearly a TRILLION DOLLARS, and flush it down the toilet on wasteful pet pork projects.
A trillion dollars.
That’s 1,000,000,000,000.00
If any of these three American Traitors (Senators Collins, Specter and Snowe) happen to be YOUR Senator, please, FIRE THEM.
The Eric Holder trials
Before very long some Republican Senators should put on Eric Holders Desk a request for the complete information on the 'History of Barack Obama'. It should be in the form of an accusation of fraud by Obama on the American People in his election to the Office of the President of the United States. It should state that the Birth Certificate of Barack submitted is not a Vault Copy of the Original Proof of Birth in Hawaii. The complaint should further state and stipulate that Obama traveled to Pakistan in 1981 to visit his mother under a passport other than a U.S. Passport.
Eric Holder wants to do an investigation on the Bush administration as soon as possible.
This investigation of Obama needs to be done. Obama has some problems and has had them from the beginning, otherwise we would have some history on this person and he would not have dozens of lawyers trying to keep his past under wraps. Who the hell is he?? Where are his college records. Was he a foriegn aid student at Occidental College in California? HOw about Columbia? What about Harvard? Doe any of the Republican Senators know what the Constitution says about requirements to be President?
Wake up people, are you all stupid? What is Obama Hiding??
