Will the Dems' health care Christmas Present to America be an improvement or detriment to our health care system?

WASHINGTON -- There's a big difference between listening to one of Barack Obama's speeches, as inspiring as they may sound, and carefully reading them and weighing each passage.

There is less there than meets the ear. Maybe it sounds good to the unquestioning mind, but much of his thinking doesn't hold up to even the most cursory scrutiny. Many of his suggestions are disturbing because they would move the country in old directions that have never worked in the past.

He gave a speech about the economy the other day in Titusville, Fla., that contained many of the thoughts he has expressed repeatedly over the course of this campaign. But they raise obvious questions that cry out to be asked. He is fond of dropping "the Great Depression" into his speeches, such as when he says, "We've seen more foreclosures than at any time since the Great Depression" -- as if to suggest the country is in a depression.

But we are not. We are in the midst of a slowdown, but our economy is still growing by nearly 2 percent a year in the second quarter. He doesn't mention this in his speeches because he wants people to believe things are worse than they are.

He does not understand the larger technological forces that are driving structural economic changes in this country. He acknowledges that there are "fundamental changes in our economy" but he does not understand what they are.

He says the economy is suffering and jobs are being lost because "Over the last few decades, revolutions in technology and communication have made it so that corporations can send good jobs wherever there's an Internet connection." In fact, that technology has enabled our country to produce and sell more goods and services with fewer workers, and has made us more competitive in the global marketplace.

The U.S. Commerce Department reported last week that we are selling more made-in-America manufactured goods abroad than ever before, that the trade deficit has fallen, and that we have a trade surplus with all of our free-trade-agreement partners. That's right, the same trade agreements that Obama says he opposes and that have been bad for our country.

Obama likes to point the finger of blame for our economic ills, but he's careful to leave out the people who are in part to blame because he wants their votes.

Take, for example, the housing-mortgage debacle. Who's to blame for that? Well, he says, "When a reckless few game the system, as we've seen in this housing crisis, millions suffer and we're all affected." Continued...

Dual Citizenship
Based on the US laws at the time of his birth, it could be nothing. The issue I have regarding his eligibility to run for the Presidency is that he clearly has a dual citizenship because he is the offspring of a US citizen and a Kenya citizen.

I’ve looked into this, if there are laws regarding a President having dual citizenship and what I found was at the State Department website is that a Dual National (Citizen) could not, under any circumstances, be Eligible. Additionally, if Naturalized Citizens are Ineligible because of the Legal principle of “The Appearance of Foreign Allegiance” which they are, and always have been, a former Dual National/Dual Citizen MUST is in exactly the same position vis-à-vis Article II.

So, there is a huge problem, which no one in the media will ever bring up. Now, if he legally gave up his Kenyan citizenship, which he has not done. He cannot participate in the other countries politics. Unfortunately, he has a cousin, who ran for Kenya’s presidency and lost, and I was able to find information that Obama’s supported of his cousin run. He posed for photos with him and everything.

Considering he “claims” to have studied Constitutional Law at Harvard, you would think he would know all about this cause in the Constitution.

Also, he parents were never considered “legally” married in the US. Because his father was married to another woman, when his parents married, there is no record of divorce papers filed, and when he’s father returned to Kenya, he remarried again. So, he was a bigamist.

Kenya and Obama
I have done a great deal on research about this aspect of his life. Because his father never became a US citizen and eventually returned to Kenya after getting his degree at Harvard, he was still considered a Kenyan citizen. And, if his father was still a Kenyan, Barack Jr. is also considered a Kenyan, because of his relationship with his father and his family.

This means he has dual citizenship the US and Kenya. I am still doing more research and have found a few things that I question, personally. When his mother married, Lolo Soetoro and they moved to Jakarta, Indonesia, in order for him to attend a government run school and benefit from Indonesia educational system, he had to have been legally adopted to attend the schools there. I cannot find anything yet about whether he was legally adopted by Lolo Soetoro, but his registered name at school was Barry Soetoro. It doesn’t mean that he was adopted, just means they may have given that name in order to attend the school.

He was registered at school, where yes, they studied the Koran at the government school and he was told he needed to participate in the class and learn the Koran. He wasn’t the least bit happy about learning it and complained to his mother about it; but, according to an interview his half sister gave she did say that he was a “practicing” Muslim, while living in Indonesia.

You have to be a naturalized citizen, some question his birth certificate and place of birth, I have been researching that, and although I find a video of a former classmate of his mother, who brought a 2-3 day old Barack, where the woman showed her how to change a diaper. She lived on the border of Washington State and Canada. I just wonder why she would take a small newborn and travel, when his mother’s parents were living and working in Hawaii.
