Trump Spent Millions on Own Business' During Campaign

According to the last FEC filing of his 2016 campaign, President-elect Donald Trump spent over $3 million on his family business as campaign expenses in the final weeks of the presidential race. Trump's campaign also generated some revenue for his children, with his son Eric Trump's wine manufacturing company receiving over $21,000 worth of payments. Trump's vast business holdings have come under closer scrutiny since his electoral victory in November. He currently faces possible conflicts of interest and violations of the emoluments clause in the U.S. Constitution, which prohibits a president from holding business interests.
