Andrew Breitbart Dead at 43

Media mogul, conservative provocateur and family man Andrew Breitbart died last night in Los Angeles. BigJournalism.com, a site that he founded as a part of his Breitbart.com network of sites,

reported his passing this morning.

Andrew passed away unexpectedly from natural causes shortly after midnight this morning in Los Angeles.

We have lost a husband, a father, a son, a brother, a dear friend, a patriot and a happy warrior.

Andrew lived boldly, so that we more timid souls would dare to live freely and fully, and fight for the fragile liberty he showed us how to love.

Conservatives everywhere have benefited from Andrew's tireless work and dedication, both personally and professionally. He was always willing to lend an ear and would never shy away from an argument. Recently, he stopped by our CPAC booth just for fun, to have a few unprompted conversations with the staff, from our featured writers on down to our interns. His presence lit up a room and simply energized those around him.

Andrew Breitbart will be missed, and our prayers are with his family.
