Senator Kennedy Blasts Biden Over Inflation As Only He Can

In a speech on the Senate floor this week, and as only he can, Republican Senator John Kennedy of Louisiana brought the heat against President Joe Biden and congressional Democrats for the devastating effects of inflation.

While rising prices are nothing new for the American people, Democrats continue to turn a blind eye to the pain being felt by hardworking Americans when they claim the economy is booming, an insult made even worse by Biden and his allies in Congress and the mainstream media refusing to accept any responsibility for the roles they've played inflicting and defending "Bidenflation."

"I say this with no joy whatsoever: inflation in America today is man-made, and that man's name is President Joe Biden," declared Senator Kennedy.

"In my state where the mean household income is $55,000, the average American family is paying $800 a month more — a month, not a year, a month more — to live in this wonderful country as a result of 'Bidenomics,'" the Louisiana Republican noted.

"That's $9,600 a year that a family of four making $55,000 a year has to find," he continued of the pain being caused by Biden's economic policies which — despite being rebranded from "Build Back Better" to "Bidenomics" — have continued to see the president's approval, especially on his handling of the economy, sink to generational lows.

Explaining how "Bidenomics" have impacted the residents of his home state, Kennedy said Louisianans "have maxed out their credit cards and they've spent their savings and they've borrowed money and they have had to take money out of their children's 529 college savings program."

Inflation, Kennedy emphasized, "is strangling my people."

While most attention remains on the drama playing out in the House of Representatives, conservatives ought to continue keeping, as much as possible, the focus on Democrat policies and their harmful consequences.
