Democrat Believes Trump's ICE Deportations Is 'Impeachable' Offense

Democrats have once again reached a new low.

Congressional Black Caucus Chair Yvette Clark (D-NY) said she wants to impeach President Donald Trump not over any real crime, but because she believes anti-ICE rioters should be allowed to torch Los Angeles in protest of the president’s immigration enforcement. In an unhinged moment, Clark openly suggested that stopping the deportation of criminal illegal immigrants is worth impeaching a duly elected president over.

During a town hall on Monday, Clarke was asked by a reporter whether she believed President Trump’s actions in Los Angeles amounted to “lawlessness,” were “unconstitutional,” and constituted a “violation of human rights”—and whether she viewed them as grounds for impeachment.

“I definitely believe it is" impeachable, Clark said.

Meanwhile, on a separate occasion, Clarke boasted about her efforts to prioritize the needs of illegal immigrants—work that, critics argue, has come at the expense of American citizens.

Clark boasted about her active role in immigration issues by leading or signing over 50 congressional letters since January. She said her efforts have focused on extending Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for countries like Haiti and Venezuela, opposing deportations and family detention, scrutinizing DHS detention facilities, criticizing enforcement actions in immigration courts, rejecting the Trump travel ban, and highlighting the economic impact of immigration-related executive orders.

Clarke argued that Americans still struggle with rising costs, even as inflation, gas prices, and grocery bills have reportedly declined. She blamed this disconnect on what she called President Trump’s “unlawful” tariffs, claiming they are driving up expenses for everyday Americans and have played a major role in damaging the economy.
