The illegal immigrant who hit and killed a Las Vegas police officer last year in a wrong-way crash was found to have three times, 0.205, the legal limit of alcohol in his system at the time of the incident.

Fernando Jimenez-Jimenez crashed into 29-year-old LVMPD Officer Colton Pulsipher’s car in December 2024 after illegally entering the United States twice in 2019. He was returned to Mexico each time by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Still, thanks to the Biden administration’s overly lax immigration policies, the illegal immigrant managed to re-enter the U.S.

According to the police report, not only was Jimenez-Jimenez over Nevada’s blood-alcohol 0.08 limit, he also had THC, which is found in marijuana, in his system. He was also driving between 91 and 99 mph.

The passenger in Jimenez-Jimenez’s truck survived the crash and wandered into the desert, where authorities found him asleep nine hours later. He told police that both he and Jimenez-Jimenez worked for a landscaping company and that Jimenez-Jimenez had driven into the desert to drink. Although the truck was not registered in Jimenez-Jimenez’s name, the registered owner never contacted law enforcement.

This is not the first time an illegal alien living in the U.S. illegally caused a wreck, resulting in an innocent American dying.

In 2024, a 16-year-old illegal immigrant from Colombia was arrested by ICE after a fatal crash in Aurora, Colorado, that killed 24-year-old Kaitlyn Weaver. When he struck Weaver's vehicle, the teen was driving over 90 mph without a license.

In April 2023, six-year-old Ian Matteo Garcia was killed in North Dakota after being struck by 19-year-old Julian Montoya, an illegal immigrant who was speeding at the time of the incident.

Also in 2023, 21-year-old Jose Aguilar-Martinez, an illegal immigrant from El Salvador, was arrested in Virginia for the fatal carjacking of 54-year-old Melody Waldecker, who was struck and killed by her own vehicle as Aguilar-Martinez fled the scene.
