Just in time for the upcoming presidential election, cue a new “fear-mongering” strain of COVID-19 that could force Americans to lock down, stay home, shutter businesses, and avoid contact with other Americans.
As the Biden Administration ramps up another round of COVID hysteria, one Republican mayor is doubling down on his refusal to comply with the Democrats' ploy to return to the mandates and orders that were ushered in with the pandemic.
Senatorial candidate and Riverton, Utah, Mayor Trent Staggs (R) vows to keep his city open, believing in the “freedom” and allowing Americans to decide what is best for themselves.
“In 2020, when they decided to enforce business closures, social distancing, and masking, I directed our police not to enforce; if they bring it back, 100 percent I will once again hold the line,” Staggs told Breitbart News. “In Riverton, we believe in freedom and that people know better how to govern their lives than DC bureaucrats.”
If covid restrictions do come back. Once again, I will not comply.

Despite President Joe Biden declaring COVID-19 over earlier this year, there has been no shortage of attempts to reinstate mask mandates and the renew calls to get “boosted” as a new strain of the virus has reportedly reared its head.

This week, a TSA whistleblower allegedly reported that mandates would be coming back in October, while Hollywood studio Lionsgate announced they would also bring back mask mandates.
Morris Brown College also announced new mandates, forcing all students and staff to mask up again for 14 days.
Additionally, a White House official said the Biden Administration encourages Americans to get their umpteenth booster before the election.
In a report, CNN also pushed the Left’s Covid hysteria, citing so-called “experts” who say to “dust off those N95 masks and place them snugly over your nose and mouth to protect yourself from a recent uptick of the virus.”
With all that as the backdrop, the House Oversight Committee said on Friday that Biden CDC officials told committee staff that "available data and science do not support annual COVID vaccines."

In a staff briefing today, @CDCgov confirmed that available data and science do not support annual COVID vaccines.
This contradicts @CDCDirector's recent statement that annual boosters will likely be recommended this fall.
What happened to "follow the science?"
