President Joe Biden is gaslighting Americans once again with his blatant lies regarding the country's downhill trajectory.
During an interview with Nexstar Washington Correspondent Reshad Hudson, Biden blamed the record-high inflation on "packaged goods."
As food prices and everyday essential items continue to skyrocket, the president is insisting that the cost of things such as chicken and eggs aren't rising, it's food that comes in a box, such as Raisin Bran.
"The main driver of food prices" [isn't things like beef or eggs, it's packaged food], so you will "see people not buying Kellogg's Raisin Bran, you're going to see them buying other Raisin Bran, which is going to be a dollar cheaper."
This comes as a report reveals that inflation has gone up an annualized 8.2 percent.
Biden also claimed that he is working on getting gas and food prices down. However, he doesn't have much of a good reputation for keeping promises.
"We're getting them down. I told you I'd bring them down. We're bringing it down," Biden said. Adding, "I come from a family where if gas prices went up or if food prices went up, what happened was there was a conversation at the kitchen table."

Meanwhile, on Thursday, Biden continued to lie to Americans, saying that the country is no longer facing "record inflation anymore."
Biden went on to say that people are better off now with inflation than they were before.
However, polls indicate that inflation and the price of items are the main factors voters will consider when deciding which party to vote for in the midterm elections.
