Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) had some harsh words for Democrats, amidst the chaos surrounding results from the Iowa caucuses. Leader McConnell questions Democrats' ability to run the free world if they cannot handle counting votes in the Iowa caucuses:

The same Democrats who want to take over everyone’s healthcare and micromanage the entire economy couldn’t even organize their own traditional Iowa caucuses?

Democrats are in panic mode as rumors spin about the legitimacy of the caucus results. The hold-up is said to be attributed to "coding errors" with the result-generating software, which Democrats did not test before the caucuses. The Iowa Democratic Party said that the delay is due to necessary "quality checks" on results. Normally, candidates leave Iowa with the rankings known as they head to New Hampshire; this hold-up is wildly unprecedented.
Leader McConnell’s dig at Democrats comes ahead of President Trump’s inevitable acquittal tomorrow afternoon in Leader McConnell’s Senate chamber. 2020 Democratic contenders who also hold Senate seats will be forced to return to Washington to vote to convict the president.
