In Other News: Harry Reid's Selfless Sacrifice to Bad Taste

Here are some other highlights and headlines that I noticed over at Ransom Notes Radio:

Harry Reid said he thought about retiring in 2010, but decided to run for reelection when a local newspaper urged him to drop out. Reid explained that he “didn’t want the bastards to beat me”… This is exactly the type of selfless dedication to public service that makes me so darn proud of Washington DC.

When asked about accusing Romney of tax evasion (with absolutely zero evidence), Harry Reid’s only response was “he didn’t win, did he?” In other news, Reid wants to know when the Koch brothers stopped beating their wives.

It looks like the nuclear talks with Iran are wrapping up with a deal to keep talking… So, now we know: Community organizers don’t know how to close the sale.

Iran’s militia chief explained that erasing Israel off the face of the planet was “nonnegotiable”. But I’m sure he’ll be open to discussing that after we reach a nuclear deal and lift sanctions.

Michelle Obama’s recent two day trip to Cambodia cost $242,500 in hotel accommodations. That sounds high, until you realize the Administration booked 85 hotel rooms, five office suites, five sleeping suites, and one conference room for 14 days. It’s unclear if Travelocity gave any sort of group discount.
