We have no knowledge about or connection to any alleged acts and events involving James O'Keefe at Senator Mary Landrieu's office. We only just learned about the alleged incident this afternoon. We have no information other than what has been reported publicly by the press. Accordingly, we simply are not in a position to make any further comment.Assuming the reported events surrounding the alleged tampering of Sen. Landrieu's phone are true, I personally say shame on O'Keefe et al. A healthy respect for the law is what separates us from the crooks--including those made notorious by O'Keefe's undercover investigations.
I want to expose crooked politicians just as much as O'Keefe, but in our pursuit of justice, we must maintain our ethical standards and regard for the law. Otherwise, we are no better than they are.
