Rush Limbaugh Ditched in Bid to Buy Rams

Conservative talker Rush Limbaugh has been punted out of a group looking to purchase the St. Louis Rams football franchise.  Al Sharpton's calling it a "moral victory for America" and the NFL team has made no comment.

Meanwhile, Rush has plenty to say:

"This is not about the NFL, it's not about the St. Louis Rams, it's not about me," Limbaugh said. "This is about the ongoing effort by the left in this country, wherever you find them, in the media, the Democrat Party, or wherever, to destroy conservatism, to prevent the mainstreaming of anyone who is prominent as a conservative.

"Therefore, this is about the future of the United States of America and what kind of country we're going to have."

It's no wonder why so many people who have never listened to Rush have such a negative impression of him... especially when you have "journalists" on MSNBC making ridiculous comparisons on-air between Rush and slavery-era plantation owners:
