Mayo Clinic Slams Socialized Medicine

During many of his health care campaign rallies townhall meetings across the country, President Obama has praised the internationally renowned Mayo Clinic as an example of what "good medicine" should look like.  Based in Minnesota, the non-profit Mayo Clinic is privately managed, but Obama insists that his planned government-run system would model Mayo Clinic's efficiency in providing quality care for lower costs.

Yeah, right.

While a number of medical professionals are waving the white flag in this ongoing health care debate (ahem, AMA), Mayo Clinic on Monday condemned the Obamacare plan, saying the House's proposed plan "misses the opportunity to help create higher quality, more affordable health care for patients."  In fact, "it will do the opposite," according to clinic staff, because the proposals aren't patient-focused or results-oriented.  "The real losers will be the citizens of the United States."

As poll numbers continue to fall, Pres. Obama will try to regain control of the debate tonight during an 8 p.m. broadcast live from a health care propaganda party townhall meeting at a Cleveland high school.
