MSNBC Host: What's The Point of These Trump Wuhan Coronavirus Pressers?

I mean, are we shocked an MSNBC host would take this position on these Wuhan coronavirus pressers that are held by President Trump and his response team? It once again shows the liberal media is just driven insane by this man. Also, what a sad bunch these clowns can be. Initially, there was criticism about a lack of response. Now, the Trump administration is moving forward on trade, tax, and economic policies to help the nation contain and defeat this outbreak. They’ve been holding daily briefings and now, Joy Reid is wondering what’s the point of all this.

The mind reels. It really does. Why isn’t Trump holding more pressers on the Wuhan virus? Trump hosts pressers. Media says what’s the point of these briefings. The good part about this is that Trump knows the game. He knows how they will react. He knows he’s dealing with a dishonest and biased press corps. In any situation, he should ignore most of their nonsense. He can’t. The liberal media has done a terrific job destroying the stock market with their coverage. That’s not to say the Wuhan virus isn’t serious. Look at what it’s done to the economy, but it’s hardly apocalyptic. At the same time, it is highly contagious, and it can make you very ill. For the elderly and the immunocompromised, the risk is the same as with any virus that attacks the respiratory system. It can be deadly.

The disease is a minefield of good and bad. The bad, as we said, is how easily it can spread, living on some surfaces for up to three days and in the air for hours. The good news is that recovery rates are very high. Over 90 percent of those infected will make a recovery, and while most who contract the disease might exhibit mild symptoms—it’s them spreading it to the elderly that’s the issue. For some, they may be asymptomatic, go outside, and unknowingly spread the virus everywhere they go. Hence the need for social distancing for a bit.

All of this information is the reason why we need these pressers and updates on what we’re doing for travel restrictions, help for small businesses, and the state of our medical supplies. What will be open and what will be shut down to contain the spread—that’s all been featured at these briefings. It’s the media that doesn’t care, doesn’t listen, and then makes complete clowns on themselves on national television. Even in the midst of a pandemic, these folks remain enemies of the American people and ghoulish cheerleaders for economic collapse to better the chances of booting Trump from office.
