Liberal Reporters Try to Smear Trump as a Racist During Wuhan Coronavirus Presser

Like we’ve been saying, if there is one group that could be an impediment to our recovery from this Wuhan coronavirus outbreak and an obstacle to unity on the Hill in fighting this disease, it’s the liberal media. Today, all the gains made in the stock market during the Trump administration has been wiped out, thanks to these clowns overhyping the virus. Two things can be true: the Wuhan virus can be deadly and contagious, and the media could heavily exaggerate its impact. The latter has crashed the markets, but we’re nowhere near seasonal flu-levels of infection or deaths. At the same time, that doesn’t mean we should just go about our business. Some people who are exposed are asymptomatic but can still spread the disease; this virus can live on some surfaces for up to two to three days. That can lead to someone 60 years of age or older getting it and possibly dying from it. Yet, young people are still going out. Look, I may have been a bit slow concerning the impact of this virus, but the markets are on fire. This has to be curbed and if that means we stay home for a few weeks and practice some social distancing, then so be it.

In the media aspect of this, the liberals have found something that could be weaponized to attack this president. They found something that can tank the markets. It’s despicable but not nearly as bad as liberal reporters trying to smear the president as a racist for calling this disease a “Chinese virus.” Newsbusters has been burning the midnight oil catching all of this insanity:

During Wednesday’s coronavirus press conference at the White House, ABC’s Cecilia Vega and PBS’s Yamiche Alcindor worked together to claim that President Trump’s use of the term “Chinese virus” was “racist” and “puts Asian Americans at risk.” Alcindor even touted rumors of an unknown administration official using an offensive term to describe the disease.

“Why do you keep calling this the Chinese virus? There are reports of dozens of incidents of bias against Chinese Americans in this country....Why do you keep using this?,” Vega asked accusingly as the President took questions in the 12:00 p.m. ET hour. After Trump explained, “Because it comes from China,” Vega declared: “A lot of people say it’s racist.”

The President rejected her assertion: “It’s not racist at all. It comes from China. That’s why. It comes from China. I want to be accurate.”

The ABC White House correspondent maintained Trump was endangering people by using the phrase: “You have no concerns about Chinese Americans in this country?” She even attempted to recruit other administration officials in the room to attack the President: “To the aides behind you, are you comfortable with this term?”

[…]

Trying to assist her liberal media colleague as the presser wound down, PBS NewsHour White House correspondent Yamiche Alcindor pushed an unsubstantiated accusation against a supposed anonymous administration official: “There are some – at least one White House official who used the term ‘Kung Flu,’ referring to the fact that virus started in China. Is that acceptable? Is it wrong?”

The President asked the obvious question: “I wonder who said that. Do you know who said that?” Alcindor then admitted: “I’m not sure of the person’s name.” If she doesn’t even know who allegedly used the term, how does she know the remark even happened?

Despite that, she remained undeterred in her biased line of questioning:

A person at the White House used the term “Kung Flu.” My question is, do you think that’s wrong?...And do you think using the term “Chinese virus,” that puts Asian Americans at risk, that people might target them?

Oh, go to hell, ladies. Really? Calling it a “Chinese virus” puts my life in danger? So far, no white lynch mobs have shown up at my house. I haven’t been harassed. Why? Because I don’t live in Idiotsville. The liberal media is just lusting for something racially motivated to happen, so they can use that to attack the president. You know it. It’s a sick fetish. They want it so bad. Only a full-blown moron thinks this puts lives at risk. Right now, I’m more likely to die from the seasonal flu. Also, the people who are really putting everyone’s lives at risk, along with a delay in daily routines, are young people who simply cannot understand that this virus has become a more serious issue.

At the same time, I, or any other Asian American, don’t need a cabal of liberal reporters, the enemies of the people, taking the mantle of saviors of the Asian race. We know why you’re doing it. You want some Asian person to get assaulted so you can blame Trump for it. Your salivary glands are getting stimulated just thinking about it you sick, sick puppies.

This virus originated in China. The Chinese tried to cover it up. They knew about human-to-human transmission. They destroyed evidence of it in December. They kept medical crews in the dark. They prevented reporting on new cases. And they strong-armed good doctors trying to spread the word of this disease. But it’s not china’s fault, right. You people are pathetic. Also, Chinese ? all Asian people—that would be pretty…racist.
