It truly is amazing how liberal writers just think that Ralph Northam never said he was for later-term abortions. And not just abortions at eight months into a pregnancy, like after birth—to the point where the child would be made comfortable before a doctor and the parents decide if they wanted to murder it. Yes, Northam, who has incredibly survived a racist blackface-wearing scandal, admitted to this on the radio. We have the tape. President Trump rehashed this point at his speech before the attendees at the annual March for Life rally to point to the Democrats’ extreme push to the left on abortion. Yet, at Mediaite, they seem to think this was a falsehood:
On Friday, Trump made history as the first sitting president to speak in person at the “March for Life” rally on the National Mall in Washington, DC.
During the speech, Trump told a rapid series of inflammatory lies and misrepresentations.

Trump then told perhaps the most inflammatory lie, one he has told several times before:
Then we had the case of the Democrat governor in the state of Virginia, the Commonwealth of Virginia, and we love the Commonwealth of Virginia but what is going on in Virginia? What is going on? The governor stated that he would execute a baby after birth. You remember that.
Trump is referring to remarks that Northam made a year ago describing the live birth of an infant (not an abortion) that could not survive on its own outside the womb, and the medical care decisions that would be made in that case (not a decision on whether or not to “execute the baby”).

Heck, even CNN reported on this when Northam uttered these ghastly words. I mean, let go to the tape, shall we? The Free Beacon has more:
"If a mother is in labor, I can tell you exactly what would happen. The infant would be delivered. The infant would be kept comfortable. The infant would be resuscitated if that’s what the mother and the family desired, and then a discussion would ensue between the physicians and the mother," Northam said, alluding to the physician and mother discussing whether the born infant should live or die.
A Democratic lawmaker in the Virginia House of Delegates proposed a bill … that would allow abortions through the end of the third trimester of pregnancy. The video of Delegate Kathy Tran presenting her bill led to an exchange where she admitted that her bill would allow for a mother to abort her child minutes before giving birth.
And please, save us the non-viable talking point. We all know the people pushing for late-term abortion aren’t doing this for those with pregnancy issues regarding the life and health of the mother. They want healthy babies aborted. It should be allowed because of …feminism or something. Baby-killing is a cottage industry that Democrats support on a daily basis. This is the party that no longer says abortion should be safe, legal, and rare. It’s on tape. It’s there. It’s not a lie. The Democratic Party is an abortion extremist party. Period.
