They Want To Take Your Guns

Yet, we have a big update from Kiwi land; New Zealand has virtually banned firearms. After the horrific shootings in Christchurch that left nearly 50 Muslims dead, perpetrated by a reported white supremacist, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern announced that the government would be banning so-called military-style rifles and limiting magazines (via The Hill):

New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern announced Wednesday that the country would ban the sale of all assault rifles and semi-automatic guns, less than a week after a shooter opened fire at two mosques in Christchurch, killing 50 people.
"Today I am announcing that New Zealand will ban all military-style semi-automatic weapons. We will also ban all assault rifles," Ardern said at a press conference, according to The Guardian.
"We will ban all high-capacity magazines. We will ban all parts with the ability to convert semi-automatic or any other type of firearm into a military-style semi-automatic weapon. We will ban parts that cause a firearm to generate semi-automatic, automatic or close to automatic gunfire," she continued.

There’s no grandfather clause. No wiggle room; you turn them over. Period. This is a gun confiscation program. And it’s exactly what Democrats want to do here. Katie wrote about it today. One of the first was Sen. Bernie Sanders, who represents a state where some 70 percent of its residents own firearms.

Overnight they banned any semi-automatic firearm with a detachable magazine that holds more than five rounds. Joe Biden is about to run for president. Keep your hands to yourself, Joe. Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) is keeping her crazy policy train going, supporting giving illegal aliens Social Security benefits. They already pay into it is the argument. Yeah, good for them; they got to go. They’re illegal aliens. So what if they pay into the system? It all goes to show how far the Democrats will bend over backward for people who shouldn’t be here, but literally give the finger to actual citizens. Once again, this trend on the Left is one of the reasons why Trump won. It was time to enforce our immigration laws and take care of business for our citizens. It still needs to be done.

On a side note, Kellyanne Conway’s husband, Joe, went off the rails going after the president’s mental health. Trump rightfully called him a “whack job.” Other than that, March Madness is on; hope your brackets are still intact.
