Oh, here comes the fact check by the liberal media. Folks, the Trump administration lied about immigration. Now, I’m a bit torn. On one hand, the number of suspected terrorists arrested at the border given by the Trump White House appears to be way off. It was merely six people in the first half of 2018, not 4,000. We’ll update if this number changes since the mainstream media has a serial habit of failing to report on this White House properly. Remember the (non) controversy of Trump not visiting the troops on Christmas? That lasted all about two seconds when the president landed in Iraq…to visit the troops…on Christmas. Trump knows the press hates him. He plays their game. Knowing their move even before they do, and then turning around and totally embarrassing them. The opposition media has no excuse but to double down on in the indefensible. From Trump didn’t visit the troops to ‘well, he was late, so he still a Grinch’ became the evolution of this sad, sad story.
It very well could be the Trump White House misreported a figure. Is that as bad as when Obama promised millions of Americans that they could keep their health care plans if they liked them, knowing full well that this was a complete and total lie whilst pitching the magical powers of Obamacare? Still, in general, this is politics. This is D.C. These are politicians. They lie—all of them. So, excuse me if I treat this like it’s just a day that ends in “y.” And sadly, I’m not a liberal, where my supposedly inherent moral righteousness grounded in my political positions grants me a free license to peddle total lies. Let’s call that the Ocasio-Cortez protocol. Frankly, I’m more concerned that NBC News decided to apparently scrub this story with the political correctness cloth. Terrorists are now…immigrants? U.S. Customs and Border Protection encountered only six immigrants at ports of entry on the U.S-Mexico border in the first half of fiscal year 2018 whose names were on a federal government list of known or suspected terrorists, according to CBP data provided to Congress in May 2018 and obtained by NBC News.
The low number contradicts statements by Trump administration officials, including White House press secretary Sarah Sanders, who said Friday that CBP stopped nearly 4,000 known or suspected terrorists from crossing the southern border in fiscal year 2018.
Secretary of Homeland Security Kirstjen Nielsen told reporters on Monday the exact number, which NBC News is first to report, was classified but that she was working on making it public. The data was the latest set on this topic provided to Congress.

Oh, so this was leaked. Well, again, a day that ends in “y.” Terrorists aren’t immigrants; they’re trash. They’re friggin’ terrorists…just call them that! These aren’t the people who waited in line on Ellis Island. And it also confirms what conservatives have been saying for years; terrorists are using our immigration crisis to seep into the country. And it only takes one terrorist to reap havoc and take lives. Gee--I wonder what obstacles we can build to help our Border Patrol agents and immigration enforcement authorities to help curb, deter, and prevent terrorists, drug dealer, smuggles, child traffickers, and illegal aliens from pouring over the border? Oh, maybe it's a wall.
