Maxine Waters: Trump Should Be Charged With Obstruction Of Justice

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) just loves this. She’s back, folks. After calling the president a “disgusting, poor excuse for a man,” saying Trump had no business being president, and that she would fight for his impeachment every day, Waters has been having a field day post-Comey firing. Keep in mind, she has said that it would have been fine for Hillary Clinton to fire the FBI director, but not Trump. So, she’s upset that Mr. Comey was fired after saying he’s lost all credibility, but also outraged that Trump fired him. She’s probably the most explicit example of Democratic hypocrisy on this matter. Now, she feels that the president has committed obstruction of justice with Mr. Comey’s dismissal, an impeachable offense (NTK Network):

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) yet again called for President Trump to be impeached during an interview on MSNBC, Thursday night.

MSNBC’s Chris Hayes started the interview by asking Waters if she agreed with President Trump’s statement that former FBI Director James Comey was a showboat and a grandstander.

“As you know, I did say that he had no credibility, and I still say coming out of that classified briefing, that I had come to the conclusion he didn’t have credibility,” Waters told Hayes.

Waters went on to tell Hayes that the comparison between what Democrats previously said and what they are saying now regarding Comey isn’t hypocritical because President Trump fired Comey, while the former FBI Director was investigating the Trump campaign.

Hayes followed up by asking Waters what she would being doing right now if she was Speaker of House.

“Well absolutely, I think [Trump] can be looked at and perhaps even charged with obstruction of justice,” Waters told Hayes.

Hayes asked Waters if she meant impeachment proceedings.

“You know, I’ve said all along that he would lead us to impeachment, and he’s doing just that. Everyday, more and more is unfolding,” Waters told Hayes.

Oh, and let’s not forget that Ms. Waters said that outgoing Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) might have Russian ties on Hayes’ show without even mentioning a shred of evidence. So, it’s just a friendly reminder that she’s tossed out tin foil hat insanity before. All the more reason why we need to make her the face of the Democratic Party.
