Flashback: When Democrats Loved Comey And Thought We Were Privileged To Have Him As FBI Director

Katie listed ten Democrats who have done a 180-degree turn on former FBI Director James Comey, who was fired by President Trump earlier this week. Now, it’s a scandal. It’s Watergate (except that it’s not). It’s a constitutional crisis (also wrong). And something about Russia is the latest string of rants from Democrats. Remember after Mr. Comey informed Congress that he would be reviewing new emails relating to the FBI’s investigation into Hillary Clinton’s email usage 11 days before the election, Democrats torched the now ex-director. Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) openly admitted that back then, many in his party were calling for his resignation. Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) plainly said that it would have been okay for Hillary to fire Comey, but not Trump.

The intensity of the faux outrage from the Left prompted The Washington Post’s David Ignatius to note how peculiar it was since Democrats were all calling for Comey’s head on a pike. Now, they’re at full froth over…his firing? Katie posted about the excellent video from the Republican National Committee highlighting the hypocrisy. Well, here’s round two: The Washington Free Beacon’s mash up.

Bonus: The the best media reactions over the president’s decision to fire Mr. Comey that had a whiff of fascism, which threw us into a full-blown constitutional crisis because it was the Tuesday Night Massacre, or something.
